All the faithful of the Diocese have been asked by Bishop Reidy to unite in prayer with a particular intention of 'sparking a new Pentecost in Norwich'. In his May 16th letter to all parishes in the Diocese, Bishop Richard Reidy, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he has recieved since being installed as Bishop of Norwich and humbly, knowing that nothing good comes without grace, he asked for us to join him in prayer.
The Bishop has requested that for the nine days between the Ascension and Pentecost; Friday, May 30th to Saturday, June 7th, we pray the Novena to the Holy Spririt 'for a deepening of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in Pope Leo and in all our bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and lay faithful with the intention of sparking a new Pentecost in the Diocese of Norwich.'
