Due to a variety of schedules and the upcoming Mount 2000 Retreat Youth Group will next meet on Friday, February 27th from 6PM-8PM. All Middle and High School Youth ages 12-17 are welcome!
Please pray for the 20 High Schoolers attending Mt 2000 and the chaperones and priests traveling with them. God bless you, see you at the end of the month.
Cathedral Youth Group (both Middle and High School students, ages 12-17) meets two Fridays a month and will alternate between Adoration, Formation and Service Nights.
Adoration Nights will run as they have in the past—Adoration with Confession available, Benediction followed by snacks, fellowship and fun. The whole group will remain together on these nights.
Formation Nights will have some time of games and fellowship followed by a Formative and hopefully edifying presentation and small group discussions. It is the Team's hope to be able to divide MS and HS for the Formation part of these evenings. Our ability to do this will depend on the presence of volunteers as we would take one group upstairs for Formation and leave the other group in the Hall.
Service/Mission Spotlight Nights will of course hold fast to a game or two and snack but we will incorporate an aspect of service through some activity related to the Ministry that is being highlighted. On these nights we will be joined by a guest who will share their ministry and possibly ways the youth can actively participate in that particular outreach.
