40-Hour Devotion Adorers Needed

The Cathedral of Saint Patrick is hosting a traditional Forty-Hour Devotion of Eucharistic Adoration in preparation for the Feast of Corpus Christi. The devotion will begin after the Noon Mass on Friday, June 5th, and conclude with Benediction at 7:00 AM on Sunday, June 7th. During this sacred time, the parish and local community are invited to come and spend time with our Eucharistic Lord in adoration.

Volunteers are needed during this time as the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for adoration. To review the available time slots and commit to being there during the time of the Devotion please use this Form

The Forty-Hour Devotion honors the time Christ spent in the tomb and recalling the many biblical periods of purification, wandering, and waiting associated with the number forty and invites the faithful to deeper conversion, prayer, and repentance through time spent in the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Any time spent with Him is truly worthwhile. Please join the Cathedral community in being present for an hour or two—your presence is a great gift to His Heart!

If you have any questions feel free to contact the rectory. Thank you and God bless you!

The Forty-Hour Devotion Form can be found here as well! God bless you!
